This 5-minute video is an introspection on motherhood, foster care and adoption. As a brand new mother who once spent time in the foster care system, I've questioned whether I have what it takes to raise my infant son in a safe and loving environment. Here, I try to find those answers while reflecting on what family means to me. I shot and edited this piece with camera assistance from my husband, Jaron.
