Two best friends conspire to trick their parents into falling in love with each other by baking them a cake. But things go up in smoke when they use the wrong ingredients and burn the cake. Will their. . . r dessert cook up some hot romance for their parents or will it be a recipe for heartbreak? I wrote, directed, and produced this short. It was shot and edited by my amazing cinematographer Clay Parker  show more

Did anybody else notice the Mom character’s eyes go a little wide and glance over her shoulder when she remembered their kids were in the next room. This guy made her forget about her kid for a second. I thought that was such a funny moment! Little things like that stand out to me! I love love love this movie

Imagine conspiring with your best friend to get your parents together so you can be sisters! No need to imagine, you can watch the plot unfold right here! Masterful storytelling! The Dad was cute, playing coy when we all know he’s into her! So fun! And love all the strong female characters!

This movie is so sweet I might have to visit my dentist after watching it. I’ve got a good dentist so I’m going to watch it again. Wonderful, a must watch!

Love can always be found in baking but it’s a precise art. One wrong ingredient or mistimed move and you’ve got dog food! But with a dash of know-how and a pinch of luck you’ll be cooking up some magic just like this movie! This was a delight I want seconds of!

Funny and Beautiful! Caketastrophe is like a heist film masquerading as a sister’s adventure where the prize is their parent’s love story. Very creative!

The plan is simple...we’ll burn down the kitchen and our parents will fall madly in love! Love the comedy in this! What’s really delicious is the parents are obviously already cooking something long before the girls burn that cake!

I think it’s funny how the kids believe the parent’s story about the friend zone which allows them to have some alone time! Slick storytelling!

Love this! Reminds me of cooking with my sister when we were little. We tried to cook breakfast for our mom on Mother’s Day and scorched her favorite pan. She cried while she at our food! Cute movie! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
