The Nutcracker is staying home, washing hands, and passing the time...
Garden City Ballet (GCB) is a nonprofit organization located in Missoula, Montana. Each holiday season (for 35 years and counting) we produce The Nutcracker, a full-length classical ballet. Auditions are open to all local ballet dancers, regardless of studio affiliation. Through generous donations, we offer one of our six sold-out performances as a matinee for 500 (K-8) school children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to see a professional, live performance. GCB also offers much-needed educational scholarships to our dancers — over $43,000 to date! We are a big holiday tradition in a little mountain town.
