This video is dedicated to the song "Shaoxing Nomad" in her solo album [ NAG ] released in May 2018, under solo project Otay:onii. The song and the video are both made with a lot of recordings and series of footage recorded and shot during the journey she came to the U.S alone at the age of 16, and these years she lived in the U.S and traveled around the globe. Her nomad lifestyle never ceased to bring her "symbiotic" sights of the world, and constantly challenge her to think and shape independently. In this music video, she had used metaphorical contexts to express her determination searching or creating a world based on the various virtue she finds and holds true to, presented as visual figures drawn on poker cards. The rose in the crystal cube is a representation of that sacred part or value of each individual. And all of those virtues and the sacred values that one sets up are constantly being tested, especially during the time of chaos, revolutions, and disasters. Her wishes are indeed a test for herself to find the never-aged growth.
