we worked with graffiti artists and muralists How and Nosm, moving between the worlds of street art and fine art. As part of the project we went up to the South Bronx lair of TATS CRU, where original members BIO, BG 183 and Nicer gathered all of the gang for a reunion of sorts. These Hunts Point “originals” were so impressed by the work of identical twin Basque natives How and Nosm when they arrived in New York as young graff kids in the ’90’s, they became the only non Bronx natives ever to be part of the crew. With an incredible soundtrack by bronx salsa legend Hector Lavoe.
