This film has been made during my mid-twenties in the mid-eighties when I was studying at Berlin art school HdK. The music was composed and recorded by the great musician Ulrich Krieger. Completion of this project has been done almost 30 years later. Janus is the god of beginnings and transitions, and thereby of gates, doors, doorways, passages and endings. And that's what the film is about.
