This is an excerpt of the film "Mothers". Written and Directed by Aurora Ferlin & Produced by Frances S. Deloach. In the aftermath of her teenage son’s murder, Denise Matthews (Mickaelle Bizet) heads to court on the day of the arraignment of the accused killer. Hours before the arraignment, she finds support in a Jessie (Marta Cross) a struggling single mom battling the justice system to keep her troubled son out of it. In this scene Denise finds out that the woman she befriended in the court cafeteria is the mother of the accused killer
