Set to the classical piece Danse Macabre, a girl travels through a barren winter wasteland, armed only with a lantern containing fireflies. As her journey progresses, a lunar eclipse ensues and malicious shadows descend upon her. Her only chance of survival is to reach the last lighthouse at the center of the lake. Danse Macabre is a student film made by Avery Herzog for Advanced Animation at Ithaca College. It is a hybrid animation containing Live action, 2D animation, and 3d animation elements.
