HEADLINE: A story that questions the shaming of the Marote Dynasty through revisionist history, lies and omissions by the educational institutions, political organizations, Hendrik Potgieter, FW De Klerk, Alexander Merensky and other progressives to destroy Azania (the Republic of South Africa). TIMING: The largest North Sotho speaking people, Bapedi. They arrived in the Northern Province, present day Limpopo around 1650, and became powerful after subjugating the Kopa, Kone and Tau Chiefdoms, amongst others. They incorporated some aspects of the cultures older population such as totems, and the koma (circumcision) lodges, and announced they were ritual superiors over subordinate chiefs. SUMMARY: The story is meant to tell the history of Marote Dynasty, from Sekhukhune to Mampuru. My film will show this in action by exploring (situations). The main conflict between Kgosi ya Bapedi and the Boers. Ultimately I want the audience to feel the injustice and the oppression the black people have been experiencing since the beginning of time. And to understand that apartheid is still in existence in other parts of the country in current day South Africa
