I wrote, directed, and co-produced this movie just outside of Austin, TX. I was fortunate to have a very talented and diverse cast and crew work on it with me. It stars Katlynn Simone, who got her sta. . . art when BET cast her as Brit Brat in The Game. She now plays Treasure on Empire. The Right Thing is about a strong young woman who is forced to take very difficult actions that have lasting consequences. It is a personal story for me, but I also consider it a metaphor for the African American experience in modern American society show more
