This video marks my directorial debut. It's been a lifelong dream to become a filmmaker and the Virginia is for Film Lovers competition was a great place to start.
The commercial was shot with (mostly) non-actors in dessert shops across Richmond, Va. It captures their unscripted, spontaneous reactions to tasting the desserts for the first time. We filmed at Sugar Shack, Charm School Social Club, Shyndigz, Roaring Pines and Boyers Ice Cream.
