The aim of the documentary is to tell a football story from a different point of view, that goes beyond the simple football tournament and underlining the social contest in a particular event like “Europeada 2016”. We believe that ‘’Europeada 2016” could be a great chance to explain a different football that speaks about roots, different cultures and traditions. For this reason it is a special occasion to describe Europe society through a sporting event highlighting on linguistic minorities that should be considered as a treasure for Europe. We followed the Cimbrian national team throughout the entire tournament focusing on the human aspect of the team members. The Cimbrian are a small linguistic minority radicated in the alps, with they own history and language.
