Hello! This is my 2 minute short film on the current covid-19 pandemic. I call this “Trapped in Latex”. I decided to do more of a metaphorical point of view in this film, using costuming, makeup, and lights. I used green makeup/dye to convey the virus itself, red/blue flashing lights to portray chaos, fear, and emergency. This is a story of a health care worker who gets infected by the virus. Covid-19 is something to be taken seriously and I really wanted to convey history into a 2 minute video. This really conveys a health care worker stuck in her head after she realizes she’s infected. I had a lot of fun with this and it was a great learning experience!! I wrote and read the poem in this film, as well as directed, edited, and acted in this. I used what I could, I only had limited resources to record and edit my film. :-) thank you!!
