'The Road of Repentance' is a 3 minute promotional film about the life and history of Saint Gerlachus, a knight, pilgrim, hermit and Saint from a small village in the southern part of The Netherlands during the 12th century A.D. In this short promotional film, 'The Road of Repentance', we see an old knight inside a tent telling the story of Saint Gerlachus. He uses his surroundings, his maps and his memory to create an image of the Saint. Although his pilgrimage and return to Houthem are well documented, his youth and life as a knight are still shrouded in mystery. We want to show his life as a knight and for that we need YOUR help! With this promotional film we want to show the world our ambition to make a historical 10 minute shortfilm about a knight and his quest for repentance.
