Based off true events: A cop is dispatched to a domestic disturbance expecting the typical black and blue bruises to only discover the bruises are his own.
It sucked putting so much work into the film & deciding on the perfect title just to have a major Hollywood film use the same title. I honestly considered changing the title, but the title worked best and was a great fit for the story with a double meaning mixed in. So this too is Black and Blue. Besides we used it better lol.
