The Looking Ceremony tells the story of Isa, a young gypsy woman who lives in Andalusia (southern Spain) who must go through a ceremony where older women inspect her vagina to confirm her virginity. The short film portraits a culture with strong traditions, but with a modern protagonist taking her destiny into her own hands.
