Young Aiden Afshar, a 16yo resident from San Diego, California has decided he would invest his free time to teach english to refugees arriving in the country. His parents are both foreigners from Iran who arrived here many years ago. Aiden who is born and raised here know the struggles of being in a different country with a different culture, without speaking the language so he thought he could help by tutoring them. I got to know Aiden because I'm doing a documentary about refugees from Afghanistan arriving in the US and was really impressed about his dedication.
