Share kindness and stream on the NASDAQ Times Square Screen for a day!

One small act of kindness can truly make an impact. Kindness.org, Verizon, and AudPop have partnered together to showcase kindness across the country. The top three videos will screen in NYC in Times Square on the NASDAQ billboard for World Kindness Day, November 13th. The top 60 videos will have a chance to screen on Verizon and kindness.org websites and social channels. 


                   

 

 

How this video contest works:
You have until October, 31st 2022 to submit a video about kindness. Videos up to 3 minutes maximum are acceptable. All videos are initially screened by AudPop staff to ensure video contest guidelines are followed for acceptance into this video contest. Upon initially viewing, an email is sent to advise if your video is accepted or rejected. If your film is accepted, it will be viewed by a jury from Verizon and kindness.org. There are prizes for the top 3 videos and up to 60 videos will have a chance to screen on kindness.org and Verizon websites and social media channels. Submissions will be capped at 3000 entries. Winners can expect to receive a notification email by November 1st. This video contest is only open to US residents.

What we are looking for:
  • Vertical or horizontal videos up to 3 minutes that tell a compelling story about kindness.
  • We want to see kindness across the country in its many forms.
  • Inspiring and uplifting messages, showcasing kindness and the beneficial impact it has on humanity.
  • Narrative or nonfiction storytelling.
  • Compelling videos that urge others to bravely display kindness in their everyday lives.
  • Demonstrate kindness as an asset in fostering positive change.
  • Videos shot in 4K or higher. (Compress your video for submission on AudPop and if your video is chosen as a winner, you will provide a high res version.)
Questions to consider when creating your video:
  • Why does kindness matter?
  • What are the unexpected ways kindness shows up in our lives?
  • How can I inspire others to choose kindness?

How we evaluate entries:

AudPop reviews the videos to make sure videos follow the rules. The Verizon and kindness.org teams review the accepted videos to choose up to 60 winning videos.

First Place Jury Award
  • $1,000 cash prize
  • Highlight your film on the NASDAQ screen in Time Square Nov. 13th for World Kindness Day with a clip of your film. Your name will be featured on the clip. 
  • A 5G phone from Verizon
  • Have your video distributed across Verizon and kindness.org social channels and website.
Second Place Jury Award
  • $500 cash prize
  • Highlight your film on the NASDAQ screen in Time Square Nov. 13th for World Kindness Day with a clip of your film. Your name will be featured on the clip. 
  • Verizon accessories
  • Have your video distributed across Verizon and kindness.org social channels and website.
Third Place Jury Award
  • $250 cash prize
  • Highlight your film on the NASDAQ screen in Time Square Nov. 13th for World Kindness Day with a clip of your film. Your name will be featured on the clip.
