The She Directed Filmmaker Contest
During the fall of 1991 "Small Miracles" premeried at the Angelika Film Center at the IFP film market. It was made from Grant stipends from Georgia Council on the Arts, Women In Film Atlanta, Georgia public broadcasting, Fulton County Arts Council, IMAGE FILM /VIDEO, Crawford Post, and City of Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs. The proposed project well into cut the 16 mm original film footage obviously shot on location in Georgia. Utilization of my film industry contacts as a union script supervisor and editor, I will shoot at locations previously used, and procure in kind contributions. I hope to create a compelling narrative look at family dynamics, when differences can potentially divide them or make them stronger.
