We are two New York City roommates with a passion for film and at the moment have no access to real film equipment. Finding ways to continue to create while in quarantine has been an inspiration for the both of us. It is a very dark time for many and we wanted to bring the lightness and laughter that comes with a Romantic Comedy. Essential Connections explores the necessity of friendship and womanhood during a time that finds many feeling alone. Right now more than ever, technology is a popular source for seeking social interaction. We wanted to show that sometimes the companionship you may be seeking on the web can be found in the next room over.
