I am the writer, director and producer of these short films. I did have a wonderful producer, Chekechea Pryor, that helped out with The Last Taboo. I was inspired by real life events for both films. The Last Taboo tackles mental illness and colorism. The Talk brings awareness to how African American parents have to prepare their children for things that the dominant culture doesn't.
