On May 4th, 2017, Justin Sandler was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. He and wife Mary Lou had just finished a film festival tour and were about to distribute their first film when they had to put life on hold for almost a year. They documented their entire intense journey through live videos and decided early on that they were going to share everything in order to help others. Justin adopted the motto EMBRACEcancer LOVEcancer FREEcancer and began spreading this message to whomever would listen. Now, a year later, Justin is cancer-free and the filmmaking couple is preparing to shoot 2 new documentary films in order to help and inspire as many people in this world as they can. This little film is an intimate look at where they came from, what they went through, and what they are doing now.
