After losing one of my best friends last year, I decided to make a short film where I channeled my feelings of grief and sadness into art. It follows the past and present of two best friends, Samantha and Alexis, and their adventures together. The film is a montage of different clips from the friends' past while Alexis narrates over it. Halfway through, the big obstacle reveals itself to the viewer; that Samantha gets very sick. I'm not going to totally reveal the whole film, but it follows Alexis's reactions and how she deals with reality, as I had to. Although hopes are not directly mentioned, it's a story of how there can be goodness and happiness whilst in the midst of grief and confusion.
