Note from the editor: I was asked to hop onto this project by a young, eager, director, who chucked up a few hundred bucks to hire me as his editor. I was told that this up and coming rap artist, Tr. . . rippie Redd, would easily garner over a million views for this video, so like a sellout, I accepted the low paying gig. Oddly enough, for this some-what catchy 2 1/2 minute song, I enjoyed the groove I fell into while editing this music video. I carefully attempted to find a balance between the artist's 'rockstar' persona, and his dissolving, chaotic, romantic relationship. After delivery, weeks later I discovered that the video had been re-edited, and layered with (what looks like amateur) VFX, and re-timed incorrectly. "Whatever," I decided. I was disappointed, but not surprised, and ultimately the client gets what the client wants. With all that said, I'd like to honor the hard work put into this video, and ask for your consideration.
