While sheltering in place, an unexpected encounter helps ease heartache.
Life comes at you in waves (particularly now). With encouragement from friends and artists who joined me without hesitation - I did this crazy thing and made a film - conceived, shot, and completed in less than 24 hours.
With music composed by Vincent Gillioz (at midnight, literally) and galvanized by Simone Ling, I couldn't be more proud and grateful to Andressa and Ash who joined me in this craziness.
Shot entirely on a Google Pixel 3a phone, CHALK STORY was filmed all within a block of home (Shout out to Buzz who encouraged us to create art on the sidewalk in front of his house.)
Thank you for watching and voting. This is what happens when you get laid off, COVID-19 knocks the world sideways and then you get up at 5am the morning before this deadline and go f**k It. Why. Not.
