I've lived in Bozeman since the late 1970's, attending MSU and have skied Bridger and Big Sky since that time. This was the culmination of some winter footage taken with a Garmin VIRB Elite, some Summer footage with a DJI Phantom 3 Professional 4k drone and a Nikon 7100 35mm camera. We also used the Garmin VIRB for the underwater Gallatin River footage. I wish all my camera's were 4k but they are not, just the drone. My favorite sequence was capturing the kid jumping off the Deer Creek bridge near Big Sky with the drone and then going underwater with the Garmin to capture him knifing the water. That was fun to shoot and a challenge to swim across the Gallatin River with a camera in your hand. The goal was to try to make a little tour that gave a taste of the flavor of Big Sky summer and winter activities that local Realtors could use to send out to their clients. It also gave a purview of new facilities being built, like the new medical center. For somebody who has never visited Big Sky before it's a nice little compilation of what to do. If we had better editing equipment and a Red camera on a Octocopter I'm sure we could have made this video pretty "Pro Joe" but we worked with what we had to make it all work. --Rusty Squire
