Auma's Story: The Animated Short was an official selection of the InShort Film Festival in Lagos, Nigeria. This silent animated art by Ozola Cody a Sacramento, Ca.-based artist who traces historical cannabis narratives, excavating and considering the local impact of legalization in her community and how it permeates contemporary culture. This animated short is loosely based on the documentary Auma's Story which is still in production.
