BESLA 2019 Film Festival
911 was inspired by current events, and as a means to express those frustrations through film. I wrote, produced, and directed this short film. Because it was my first short film, I collaborated with a friend to co-direct as a means of learning about being a filmmaker. This film has been selected to show at 10 different festivals, and is the precursor film which has helped establish myself as a filmmaker. The other projects that follow this film are 4-time festival nominated drama "What Marilyn Didn't Know" and, a comedic short that is currently in post-production "Happily Married After". As a filmmaker, I want to focus on minority characters stories, which includes all women, specifically women of color.
