A timid girl, Charlotte, is pursued by a dangerous looking character she sees at a bar. Once out in the darkness of night alone, her fear takes over. Paranoia turns to reality as creatures emerge from the darkness and attack her. Charlotte has to find her voice and her courage to fight the monsters away. Although her courage protects her, she ultimately needs the help of others to make it through the night. People gather to help and protect her from the evil of the monsters that prey on her, and she finds strength with her new friends.
