Kimberly Holt is a previously screened, writer, director and producer with a proven track record. She has worked on various other projects in film, commercials and television.

Since 2000, with the spirit that drives the true independent filmmaker, Kimberly began making her own films under the name RunAway Productions and she is still getting the job done, anyway she can, having several film shorts under her belt as writer, director, editor and producer, among them are the critically acclaimed “The Happiest Day” and “The Letter.”

Having a penchant for the macabre, Kimberly's dark, cerebral works have gone to a more spiritual plane, with her latest film projects under her new company name Covered By the Blood Films, daring viewers to question their own moral codes, never flinching and unrelenting. Along those lines, with whatever story she tells, she continues to develop them with passion and dedication.

The name, Covered By the Blood Films, was inspired by Exodus 12:13, "And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt."

In Exodus, God makes the promise that those who are his, who are covered by the blood of the lamb of God, no harm will come upon them when he sends his wrath upon the stiff-necked and the unbelievers.

With that declaration in mind, Covered By the Blood Films challenges its viewers, through tales of the internal struggles and external pressures, such as with her currently competing film, Safe, while trying to follow the faithful path in an increasingly wicked and material world, begging the question, "Are You Covered?"
