Filmmakers have a gift for reaching people in ways others do not. If you've made a short film calling attention to a social or political issue relevant to the controversial times in which we live, Audience Awards offers you an invaluable platform for exposure for your film. We seek social/political films for our festival.

Accepted films may be invited to screen on Audience Awards OTT channel. Details sent at the time of invite.

HOW THE WINNERS ARE DETERMINED: From the first round, The top 3 films with the most votes and the top 4  jury-selected films advance to a final round are judged by an esteemed panel of industry jurors. The top three final jury winners from the finals round will screen at Audfest 2019 in Los Angeles and compete for our prestigious Best of Fest Audience Award.

ABOUT AUDFEST: Your days at AudFest will be filled with invaluable industry panels and workshops, your nights filled with screenings, networking parties and awards ceremonies. AudFest is the capstone of 365 days full of stellar filmmaking and an opportunity for us to provide opportunity and exposure to our filmmaker family. We play with cameras, gear, learn from industry experts, get mentored by industry execs. We award three pioneer filmmakers and screen your amazing films. ABOUT THE CHROMACOLOR PRIZE: The first place jury winner will receive one ChromaColor color corrections in ACES (the motion picture academy's color space developed to best accommodate digital cinematography) and mastering to HDR of any project up to ten minutes in duration. $7,000 value. https://www.chromacolor.video/
