In The Kitchen With Homewood And Home2 Suites By Hilton
A video contest highlighting Homewood and Home2's full kitchens!
What's the best way to use our hotel’s in-suite kitchen and dining room? How different can your travel experience be when you're able to make meals for yourself and others? Homewood and Home2 Suites want the world to know that their hotel guests can enjoy all the comforts of home, whether traveling for two days or two months!
In two minutes or less, show us how guests utilize the full kitchens during their stay and why. This could include, but is not limited to, cooking (show us those tasty recipes!), entertaining, gathering family or business partners around the table, healthy eating, saving money, building a project or just having the joys of a kitchen at their disposal.
Additional considerations:
• Homewood offers free grocery shopping services (Note: Home2 does not offer grocery shopping.)
• Homewood and Home2 offer on-site outside grills and patios.
• Homewood and Home2 offers an on-site mini shop that sells a few prepackaged food items.
• Having access to a kitchen when traveling gives guests an opportunity to visit local farmers markets, bakeries and specialty stores which may offer delicacies not available in their hometowns.
NOTE: It is not required to shoot at a Homewood or Home2 property to compete in this contest, however, it is recommended. If you decide to film at a Homewood or Home2 Suites hotel, you as the filmmaker are responsible for arranging with the hotel the best day and time to shoot. The filmmaker will incur any cost associated with filming on-site.
If filming in an alternate location, videos and recipes should only feature kitchen items similar to what would be found in Homewood and Home2's kitchens. Do not feature or showcase items or amenities not found in Homewood and Home2's kitchens.
You can download a PDF featuring Homewood Suites In-Suite Kitchen items and amenities in the "Materials" tab above.
All videos must utilize the end slate that is downloadable in the "Materials" tab. If your entry does not utilize the end slate in the final frame, it will be disqualified.
Anyone may submit to this contest, but videos will be judged for admittance into the contest before audience and jury voting opens. Preliminary judging will be based on quality of content and adherence to the assignment. Videos will be judged on a score of 1 to 3. Videos that score a 1 will not be eligible to compete in the contest.
Please use the "Discussion" tab for any questions you may have.
