2022 Indigenous Documentary Film Challenge
I co-directed this film commissioned by Viral Interventions in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2022. It is a call to action to Casey House Hospital after Derek Yee died alone at home waiting for a bed on a weekend to access care at the specialty hospital. It is a tribute to Derek and those we have lost in similar ways. The film has been well received and we have had audiences of 100+ guests interested in making justice by changing policies.
