Multi-layering explores the boundaries of broken realities, these children are reduced to numbers on a page, closing bars, imprisonment, helplessness, confusion, culminating to the final freeing of birds. The film is based on the original documentary film 'Calais Children: A Case to Answer' directed by Sue Clayton.
