Add to that artisanal hand-dipped chocolates, every imaginable flavor of Jellybellies, nostalgia inducing hard candies, gummies, licorices, and candy sticks, and 90 types of sugar-free candies, and it is easy to see why this candy emporium is a Montana cultural institution. Located in a historic building in downtown Philipsburg, the Sweet Palace has been enchanting visitors and locals alike for almost two decades. After visiting this captivating store, it should come as little surprise that the Sweet Palace recently won the Missoula’s Choice award for best day trip, or that Philipsburg routinely gets featured in publications like Sunset Magazine and USA Today.
