The Long Catwalk Home is a documentary which explores the subculture of the underground urban modeling scene that is rapidly expanding in Washington DC. This underground phenomenon has sparked a brand new generation of young, innovative fashion entrepreneurs who are unapologetically creating their own lane. The runway has become their escape from the harsh reality that many of these inner-city youth face at home, and in their communities. And for many of the members, this is their last hope for escape. From start to finish, past to present, viewers will be hooked on the journey of the youth as they navigate themselves and this world to truly discover their own destiny. As we watch these characters combat many obstacles, The Long Catwalk Home reminds all of us, that though the journey to success may be a long one...in the end… it’s always worth the battle.
