As we entered the second month of our COVID-19 quarantine, it felt like none of the memes out there were representing the perspective of people who are actually finding some enjoyment in this time. To express this positive message with some humor, we felt the best voice for these sentiments would be a somewhat curmudgeonly country singer. So, this little slice of foolishness is our attempt at writing a country song... All the words and music to the song are original and were written over the past few weeks while our family has been home together — composed, recorded, performed, and edited on GarageBand without drum tracks or sampling. The video was all filmed in our house (and backyard), mostly by my 12-year-old son, and edited on our computer.
