It hasn't been easy to not feel alone during this time. It's given us a lot of time by ourselves but also time to look at the world more closely. For me, that has been my backyard. I couldn't believe that I had never stopped to appreciate how beautiful my yard is. Everything around me had a life of its own. I was never alone. Nature has always been here to give us comfort, it has given people companionship and hope during tough times. It's one of the few things that we still have to enjoy right now and will continue to move us long after this pandemic is over.
