After a chance encounter with a man named Bo, a filmmaker and his team attempt to uncover the reasons that led Bo and his wife Brook to where they are now: homeless and living on the streets of Austin, Texas. The journey begins with a road trip to visit the place of Bo's upbringing, but an unfortunate turn of events seems to derail their plans. What starts out as an attempt to expose the root causes of homelessness, ends in a new understanding they never expected.
