Part of living in a city is watching it change with the political and economic currents. In Brooklyn, since the 1920’s The Williamsburg Savings Bank Tower, located at One Hanson Place, was the queen of the Brooklyn skyline. As loyalties and tastes change, what communities see is as important because of the impact that brings the past to live in our memories. This tower of strength touched the hearts of all the people who walk by it or see it from afar. In this film one woman had her heart deeply touched for over 50 years. One Handsome Place is a love letter to this architectural icon which became both a beacon of home and a memorial to a young girls love.
