"Machine from the West," written by Katie Nicholson, was originally inspired by concepts in the HBO show "Westworld". The video, however, is an original story that Katie came up with and pitched to director Doltyn Snedden in summer of 2017. Together they finalized the idea and with the help of friends and family, successfully completed the project by November. Props, costumes, etc. were bought on a very low budget, being that Katie and most of the cast and crew are still in college. Katie and her team take pride in using the resources available to them to create high quality, original projects.
