At the core "Luci" is about being happy and finding out how to live for yourself and not for anyone else. The film starts and drops the viewer in to something a lot of people can relate to; losing faith. The main protagonist's name is Adam, and the short film starts with Adam officially losing faith and losing his temper at the funeral of his girlfriend. Adam leaves to clear his head and meets with this confident persuasive man named Luci. Luci gets Adam to open up and helps him work through some stuff in his head. Adam is mainly upset because he is sick of not being able to just live for himself. Luci persuades Adam to take someone else' bike on a joy ride, and the Bike owner gets mad and this ordeal happens. By the end of the short film Adam realizes he really needs to be by himself. He realizes this at a good time time because he finds out that Luci is actually Lucifer. Please consider my Pitch Video, because there is nothing else in this word I want to do more than to work with film everyday for the rest of my life whether I'm directing or editing or writing. I have been trying to save money for some equipment with no luck. It's hard enough trying to pay for school, so there is no way I am going to be able to save enough money for a computer, audio, and a new camera. I know that it's not the equipment that make the film but it does when you don't have a computer to edit on. I made a very very rough take of the short film, https://youtu.be/fxm_DMHUzdU it is very rough but it still gets the message across and more importantly the feel that I am going for. The whole film was cut using my handy-cam and got to use someones old laptop for about a hour to just add all the scenes together with movie maker.
