The word "lift" is such a great metaphor for what Jenny is not only doing for herself and her life, but all the women that she is empowering and strengthening by showing them what they can do -- all they have to do is lift themselves up! But sometimes people do not know what they are capable of until they see others like them doing it – – Jenny is lifting so much more than herself. Great film, Allie. Powerful message.

I went to school with Allie in San Francisco. Great to see 15 years later she's still doing really great documentary work! I really enjoyed this film. Great job Allie!

Amazing job, Allie! Jenny's journey is not over yet and I was privileged to spend this past weekend at a national weightlifting meet with her. I hope this film inspires many people to get moving and possibly even Lift Like a Girl :-)

This is a powerful film that reflects the lives of so many people. Share it broadly, applaud the women in your life.

The film is about empowerment and self-worth, but the twist lies in the end as our heroine does not end up as the stereotypical tanned, perfectly toned builder but a beautiful, vibrant and inspiring woman who found, like Dorothy from Kansas, that she had the ability and power to do it all along.

"Ant Sonn" One word for the women who speak of chasing their dreams despite big obstacles --- "Badass"! Inspiring film; well-composed, shot, and edited.
