In todays’ society so many people choose to “look the other way” when they see someone in need of help. If we come together as a community and lend a helping hand instead of walking away, great things can happen. Our kids can grow up knowing that they have support and don’t have feel alone. Lend a hand to the homeless. Lend a hand to the battered and abused. Lend a hand to the lost youth. We need to to get back the old adage, “It takes a village to raise a child.” One person can truly make a difference. Will that person be YOU?
