After the 1979 Islamic Revolution many Iranians moved . . . to various sections in Los Angeles, where they recreated communities leading dual lives enriched with the Iranian and American cultures. In the Garden presents a small window into the converging cultural identity of Iranian-Americans in Los Angeles.
