This film was recorded in Va. Beach VA. 1995, the Army sent me to Norfolk for a 30 day training course. I fell in love with the area, mostly because of the beach. I mada a promise to myself that when I retired I would make Va Beach my home. In 2005 I retired. A thirty minute ride from my house I spend most of my days, camera in hand walking the beaches of my new home city. I wish I could tell you I saw the wave show early on, but really it took about 5 years, in 2010 I was sitting on a stool at the edge of the beach, just me and my camera looking at the waves. With the perfect position I could see right down the barrel. Then I notice that when the waves came in and the water returned to sea amazing things would happen when the two opposing streams of water met. I have been hunting for the perfect wave ever since. The fact that our wave are small was not enough to stop me. I love VA Waves
