Xiaolu is an independent musician who is neither famous nor successful. He has been impoverished since several years ago. His girlfriend Susu is an able young woman and she always wants to start a family. But she hesitates whether Xiaolu is dependable to marry. With some quarrels, their life is kind of placid, until one day Xiaolu suddenly get an ability that he can hear how Susu thinks.
