The straws are one of the five most polluting consumer goods in the ocean, so the no-profit organization ‘Laboratorio Zip’ has promoted the awareness campaign ’Rinuncia alla cannuccia’ (‘Give up the straw’ in English) to pick up used straws and recycle them. The purpose of this campaign is to create curtains to decorate bus stops around the city of Turin (Italy).
