FOLLICLE is a film about a guy who sets out to make a documentary film in Africa on the topic of natural hair (black hair w/o chemicals, balck hair in its afro state). While embarking on this global journey he discovers that hair is just a metaphor for something much larger. My film mixes documentary and narrative aspects to encourage people of color to embrace their natural hair state.
