This video competed in
2022 Earth Day Film Challenge

I filmed this plastic dance on a festival ground in Amager, Copenhagen. The movement in the plastic caused by the wind represents an anthropocene marker with the global impact of plastic on the envir. . . ronment. The wind's interaction with man-made materials instead of natural materials or elements such as water, trees, dirt or plants produce new constellations in a dance like rhythm. In the interaction between the man-made and natural - the plastic and the wind - we are reminded of the long lasting impact that man-made and non-biodegradable materials have on the climate and the Earth as a whole. The film is made in Splice on an iPhone, and the audio is from the Splice music library  show more
